You’ll see the sororities tabling and handing out flyers on library walk the first two weeks of campus. UCSD does not have a typical Greek life here; only ~10% of students go Greek and Greek frats/sororities do not have the same power/prestige like in other Greek-centric schools. However, you are guaranteed to make a lot of friends and go to some crazy parties. I had a great social life at UCSD because of joining a sorority.
